It really doesn’t pay to be poor in America…

Published by analyzethis under Human rights Edit This

While we Americans continue to moan and groan about how much of the bailout money is really going to benefit us. “Which if you haven’t figured it out yet….ZERO”, some of our other fellow Americans are wondering where they will call home after March 2009.

It is really amazing, that we continue to line the pockets of billionaire-crooks and take away from those Americans who have been surffering since a “natural disaster” for over (3) years and counting.

I came across this piece on www.finalcall.com and just thought that I would share……totally ridiculous…UGH!

“The state of Mississippi plans to spend a half-billion federal dollars from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, that was earmarked for the recovery victims of Hurricane Katrina, to expand a storm-torn port, instead of rebuilding their low-income housing community. In addition, HUD has authorized Mississippi to drop its commitment to lower-income households affected by Katrina from 50 percent to 13 percent”.

This is sad. This type of malicious act towards our fellow suffering Americans validates the saying “It doesn’t pay to be poor in America”
